This is primarily an adult Med/Surg position with occasional pediatric patients, offering a great opportunity to work in a community critical-access hospital while enjoying Vermont’s outdoor lifestyle. Position Highlights: Start: September 16, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts Hours: 36 hrs/week Weekend: Every other weekend Holiday: Required Call: No Call EMR: Meditech Patient Population: Primarily adults with occasional pediatric patients Setting: General Med/Surg unit Contract Type: Travel Reliable personal transportation required Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing; local housing resources may be available Requirements: ✔ Minimum 3 years of acute care experience ✔ Strong Med/Surg experience ✔ Adult Med/Surg experience required ✔ Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients ✔ ACLS – Required ✔ BLS – AHA – Required ✔ Current Vermont RN or multi-state compact RN license ✔ Meditech experience preferred ✔ Must be able to work every other weekend ✔ Flu vaccination required – no exceptions Important: This is NOT a pediatric floor. Pediatric patients may occasionally be assigned to the unit, so pediatric-only RNs should not be submitted. Why This Assignment?
