Instrumentation & Electrical Tech - Maintenance

6-Month Contract-to-Hire | $53/hour |

Seeking an experienced I&E Specialist to support industrial maintenance operations. This role provides technical support for instrumentation, electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, and control systems while partnering with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical, PLC, and control system issues.
Support preventive maintenance, reliability improvements, and equipment upgrades.
Review work plans, drawings, procedures, and job scopes.
Assist with commissioning, startups, turnarounds, and capital projects.
Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support to technicians.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Associate Degree required.
Industrial manufacturing experience (chemical, petrochemical, refining, or similar).
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLC controls.
Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings.
PLC/DCS/SIS troubleshooting experience preferred.
SAP maintenance experience a plus.
