Accounting Manager

Salary: USD10000 - USD110000 per year Accounting Manager Location: Chandler, AZ (South Chandler) 100% in-office Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Manager to lead key financial operations, support business growth, and help build a strong, collaborative team. This is a hands-on leadership role where the successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and sound financial decision-making. Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and journal entries. Partner with the Director of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, audits, and special projects. Help protect company assets by maintaining strong internal controls and financial processes. Monitor department budgets and analyze financial results to support business goals. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while fostering a positive team culture. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management. Review tax filings and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Track inventory and oversee compliance with company billing and credit policies. Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Hospitality, resort, hotel, or club accounting experience is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with QuickBooks, JD Edwards, or similar accounting software is a plus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
