Lead, Finance Analytics & AI/ML

Salary: $120,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• Were looking for 15+ years of experience in travel and/or SaaS.
• We prefer a bachelors degree, with a masters degree or equivalent experience strongly favored.
• An engineering background is preferred.
• You should be fluent in SQL, Python, Google Cloud Platform, and data science, with hands-on coding capability.
• You need a solid understanding of LLM-based systems, prompt design, and AI model evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and observability tools such as Amplitude, Datadog, and Looker is important for assessing reliability and performance.
• You must have strong data reconciliation skills across large, multi-source datasets.
• You should bring first-principles thinking, including the ability to challenge assumptions and stress-test processes.
• You need to communicate clearly with senior leadership and external partners.
• You should be comfortable with ambiguity and building from the ground up.
• Experience at a high-growth technology or marketplace company is a plus.
• Cross-functional experience with data engineering or warehouse teams is a plus.

• We provide actionable insights that support better business decisions through finance and data analytics.
• We own the data warehouse strategy, governance, and execution for the finance ledger.
• We build and lead a reporting center of excellence, including infrastructure and metrics across finance and business units.
• We create, implement, and monitor the Finance AI automation roadmap in partnership with FP&A, accounting, and data teams.
• We establish the foundation for data pipelines and AI models.
• We analyze and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure costs in collaboration with engineering and Financial Operations.
• We make Finance the single source of truth for financial and business performance and enable self-service analytics for key stakeholders.
• We manage a team of 4 engineers and 1 finance and strategy manager.
• We establish internal controls and support external audits tied to data governance.
