This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a community hospital that is a regional referral center, equipped with 171 beds and accredited by the Joint Commission.Position OverviewDepartment: Intermediate CareOpening: 1 position availableShift: 3 shifts of 12 hoursWeekly Guaranteed Hours: 36Call Requirements: Must be able to report within 30 minutes when on callExperience Required: Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experienceResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Intermediate Care Unit.Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.Provide education and support to patients and their families.Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to enhance nursing skills.Patient PopulationConditions include STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, acute respiratory failure, and atrial fibrillation with RVR.Unit ProfileNumber of Beds: 30Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:3Electronic Health Record: MedhostQualificationsCurrent State License required.Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.Location HighlightsThe position is located in an area known for its outdoor recreation opportunities and beautiful natural scenery, including mountain ranges and serene lake landscapes.
