Receiving Clerk

Warehouse Receiving Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming shipments using a forklift or a skid steer
• Inspect incoming shipments and notify supervisor or receiving clerk of any quality concerns
• Notify supervisor or clerk to contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
• Label deliveries, scan items into stock, and place them in their designated place
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
• Perform regular housekeeping duties in the warehouse and keep things organized
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Support and demonstrate Blue Diamond Core Values: Integrity, Commitment, Compassion, Growth, and Positivity.
• All other duties as assigned. Cross training for other areas is expected.

Qualifications:

• One (1) to three (3) years of progressive and relevant work experience in receiving. Warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic Math and recording abilities
• Forklift training and certification or ability to obtain certification required;
• Experience operating skid steers is helpful, particularly with quick-changing attachments
