Nurse Manager – GI Unit

Montefiore Einstein seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager – GI Unit to lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical and operational functions within the Gastroenterology Unit while promoting quality, safety, staff engagement, and operational excellence for for both inpatient and outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the GI Unit nursing team

• Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards

• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts

• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth

• Monitor unit operations, workflow efficiency, and resource utilization

Qualifications:

• Current RN license

• BSN required; MSN preferred

• Previous leadership or nurse management experience preferred

• GI, Endoscopy, Med/Surg, or procedural care experience strongly preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• BLS certification required

Annual Base Salary Range: $160,000.00 to $190,000.00
