Registered Nurse - Labor and DeliveryPrimary Function: Responsible for delivering nursing care to patients, either directly or indirectly, for a defined group of patients in alignment with the hospital's patient care philosophy.Job Qualifications and Specifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing program.A minimum of 2 years of job-related experience or equivalent is required.Active licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Rhode Island.Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.Labor and Delivery certifications: BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification is preferred.Experience with EPIC electronic health records system is required.Essential Duties:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.Monitor and assess patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and educate patients and families on care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.Participate in patient education and support activities throughout the labor and delivery process.Join a dedicated team that values patient care and is committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of the community.Client Details City Warwick State RI
