At Fenner Precision Polymers, your craftsmanship on spiral looms and at the welding bench transforms raw materials into dependable wire belting products. You will blend precision manufacturing, hands-on problem solving, and a safety-first mindset while modeling our values and supporting your team.

• Produce high-quality wire belts on multiple spiral loom machines at standard production rates.
• Verify dimensions and appearance against customer specifications using calipers and a measuring tape; record results on work orders.
• Adjust equipment, follow defined work instructions, and communicate quality issues to engineering and supervision.
• Assist with tasks at equal or lower job grades and actively contribute to continuous improvement.

• Operate across various spiral loom machines; complete common setups.
• Inspect, document, and meet specification requirements.
• Use math with fractions, decimals, multiplication, and addition.
• Build from work orders with limited supervision.

• All Level 1 responsibilities.
• Master a wide array of setups across spiral looms.
• Independently troubleshoot and solve technical issues impacting quality across most products.
• Diagnose and build from work orders without supervision; stay flexible and offer improvement ideas.

• All Level 1 and 2 responsibilities.
• Master every setup on every spiral loom in the shop and troubleshoot across all products and machines.
• Train others, support teammates through challenges, and lead with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Provide leadership in continuous improvement.

• Consistently demonstrate Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and limits.
• Understand left- and right-hand welding processes; set up equipment correctly.
• Cut, fit, and weld metal using gas and electric welding equipment.
• Operate saws, torches, a plasma cutter, grinders, and drills safely and effectively.
• Weld on various metals, including heavy-gauge steel, using MIG and TIG processes.
• Perform simple machining operations.

• Perform all general welder responsibilities.
• Clean and prepare weld surfaces.
• Weld parts per the manufacturing order and verify quality visually.
• Cut mesh and punch holes as required.

• Perform all Finisher I and general welder responsibilities.
• Complete at least 50% of chain jobs.
• Execute small-specification welds with accuracy.
• Complete a filter belt manufacturing order.

• Learn and follow EHS policies, rules, and work instructions; attend required EHS training.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Protect yourself, coworkers, and visitors by participating in or conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, corrective actions, and safety observations.
• Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present.
• Keep the work area neat and equipment in proper working condition.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comfort using calipers and a measuring tape.
• Fluent with fractions, decimals, multiplication, and addition.
