Position Overview Member Consultant II – BECU, North District – Pay range: $26.00–$32.12 per hour . Impact You'll Make Play a key role in delivering a seamless, high‑quality member experience: identify, diagnose, and address members’ consumer financial needs and refer them to specialized services. What You'll Do Provide exceptional member experience and sales consultation across business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts. Sign all line and loan documents originating through inbound/outbound call centers, ensuring member needs are fulfilled. Assist the community with financial wellness education, budgeting, debt management, and financial planning resources. Work across all pod branches for up to the first year, rotating as required. Complete a 12‑week in‑house training program, travel to Tukwila Financial Center, and commute between branches. Adapt to flexible shifts (Mon‑Fri 8:00‑18:30, up to 3 Saturdays/month 8:30‑13:30) and adjust schedules per business needs. Remain in this role for a minimum of one year before pursuing other opportunities within BECU. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; two years of sales‑oriented, financial, or retail experience. Desired Qualifications: One year experience in a financial institution; fluent Spanish highly desirable; thorough understanding of the sales process and pipeline management; strong proficiency with new systems and ability to navigate multiple systems; ability to complete 12‑week training; comprehensive knowledge of credit union objectives, products and services; knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations; excellent verbal and written communication; problem‑resolution, negotiation, organization, multi‑tasking, and peer‑coaching skills; ability to work flexible shifts.
