- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic assessments, and developing tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic medical conditions, working alongside physicians or independently based on your qualifications
- Providing education to patients and their families on health promotion, prevention, and disease management
- Prescribing treatments and medications within your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within a 90-day window)
- Exceptional clinical skills paired with a nurturing bedside demeanor
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage patients, families, and team members
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced, patient-driven settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems and ease with telehealth technologies
- A commitment to teamwork and evidence-informed practices
