Java Developer with GitHub Copilot

Salary: $90,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of software development experience and a proven track record as a Java Developer delivering successful projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Generative AI concepts, frameworks, and applications.
• Experience with AI code-generation tools and technologies, including AWS SageMaker, Spring AI, Harness, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GitHub Copilot.
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and their AI services.
• Experience with database design, management, and SQL, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.

• Design, develop, and deploy Java applications that incorporate Generative AI.
• Use GitHub Copilot to improve development speed and code quality, and mentor colleagues in effective practices.
• Work with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate models and algorithms into applications.
• Architect and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to meet business needs.
• Maintain application performance, security, and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior developers.
• Keep up with developments in AI and software engineering to support innovation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
