1 st Shift Field Data Technician

We are seeking motivated and dependable  Field Data Technicians to join a growing team. In this role, you will work outdoors collecting data on utility poles and related infrastructure throughout Indiana. Engineering teams use this information to assess pole conditions, determine service capabilities, and identify repair needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and traveling to different locations.

Field Data Technician Pay:

• Pay rate: $20/hr

Field Data Technician Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Lunches are determined within your team
• Bathrooms are minimal
• Overtime as needed

Field Data Technician Job Duties:

• Collect field data for utility and communication infrastructure projects
• Photograph and document utility poles and surrounding conditions
• Record accurate field notes, maps, and digital images
• Submit organized project documentation to engineering teams
• Work safely in outdoor environments and various weather conditions
• Travel to project sites throughout Indiana
• Meet daily productivity and quality goals

Field Data Technician Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Extensive walking throughout the workday
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to carry field equipment and tools
• Comfortable walking on uneven terrain, through fields, and around residential properties
