Job Summary:
Dialysis Unit Nurse Practitioner Des Moines, IA. This role involves providing specialized dialysis care across multiple campuses within the organization. The position requires attending to ICU patients, including those with acute kidney injury (AKI) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The nurse will float across all campuses as needed, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current dialysis experience, including inpatient experience, with specific expertise in hemodialysis using Fresenius machines. Valid Iowa or multistate license required. Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or ARC.
• Preferred Qualifications: Acute dialysis experience highly preferred.
• Float: Float across all campuses may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation scheduled for 08/17/2026. The candidate should be prepared to work 1-2 of the three upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). The position involves remote tele, ICU patients, dialysis including AKI and ESRD, with patient ratios of 2:1.
