About the Facility Location This Iowa region offers diverse attractions including the Field of Dreams Movie Site, National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium, and various state parks for outdoor recreation. Families can visit Adventureland amusement park in Altoona and enjoy multiple water parks such as Lost Island and Boji Splash for cooling off during warmer months. The area features live music venues and hosts festivals throughout the year, with Wanderwood Gardens in Dubuque scheduled to open as an adventure destination in summer 2026. About the Clinician's Workday The emergency medicine physician will provide comprehensive 24-hour coverage in the emergency department, evaluating approximately 4 patients per day while also managing 4 inpatient patients per day. The clinician will work approximately 3 shifts or more per month, delivering emergency medical care and coordinating inpatient management. The position requires board certification through ABEM, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and involves managing diverse emergency presentations while maintaining accurate documentation.
