Global Category Manager - Green Energy Procurement (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities Negotiation, conclusion and management of green electricity contracts for all global ALTANA sites to support the corporate target of achieving 100% renewable electricity sourcing Monitoring regulatory developments and market requirements related to green electricity procurement (e.g., GHG Protocol) and integrating relevant aspects into the company's energy procurement strategy in close collaboration with Corporate Sustainability & EHSR Coordination and communication within the global energy procurement network, including the identification of supplier synergies and opportunities for contract bundling across regions and business units Development and implementation of an energy data management framework to ensure transparency regarding energy consumption, suppliers, procurement costs and sustainability-related KPIs through digitalized reporting structures Preparation of energy market analyses and price forecasts to support strategic decision-making for energy transformation and sustainability initiatives Management and coordination of applications for governmental funding programs and compensation schemes in Germany, such as the Besondere Ausgleichsregelung (BesAR), Strompreiskompensation and future industrial electricity price support mechanisms Further development and implementation of ALTANA’s electricity and natural gas procurement strategy in close cooperation with the Head of Energy Procurement and relevant stakeholders across the ALTANA divisions Your profile Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma degree in Energy Management, Sustainability Management, Economics, Engineering or a comparable field Several years of professional experience in international project or multi-project management, ideally within the energy, sustainability or procurement environment Proven experience in managing and applying for regulatory funding programs, grants and compensation schemes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as experience with databases and data management tools Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively within international and intercultural teams Excellent organizational and analytical skills combined with a strong service and stakeholder-oriented mindset Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently across different organizational and management levels Business fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken Contact Person Nicola Krohn HR Team Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Altana Pharma Deutschland S.L.
