CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistsEssential duties and responsibilities:Set up and operate Okuma CNC mills and lathes.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.Load programs, make offsets, and adjust machine settings as needed.Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.Verify dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality standards are met.Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments.Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized.Maintain accurate production and quality records.Follow all safety procedures and company policies.Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.Experience operating and setting up Okuma mills and lathes required.Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T preferred.Proficient with precision measuring tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Physical requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, coolant, and metal chips.For more information or to schedule an interview, call/text us at View phone number on click.appcast.io!
