Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s financial planning and analysis function, including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling.

• Directly manage and mentor the FP& A Analyst, provide coaching and feedback, and build a high-performing and scalable FP& A function. 

• Partner with the VP of Finance & B.I. and senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions, growth priorities, and resource allocation.

• Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that improve visibility into revenue, expenses, profitability, headcount, and overall business performance.

• Prepare financial materials and analysis for executive leadership, board meetings, investors, and other key stakeholders.

• Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations for leaders across the business.

• Support the integration of the company's current and future acquisitions, including aligning financial processes, reporting, systems, and performance measures across the U.S. and Canada.

• Improve financial processes, tools, and reporting to support a growing and evolving organization.

• Partner closely with the accounting team to ensure alignment between financial forecasts, accounting results, and cash flow planning.

• Build strong relationships with leaders across Sales, Client Success, Product, Engineering, Merchant Partnerships, and People Operations.

• Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities and work with leaders to develop appropriate action plans.

Requirements:

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.

• Experience building or improving scalable finance processes, reporting, and planning tools.

• Experience supporting cross-functional leaders in a fast-paced, growing organization.

• Experience with acquisition integration, multi-entity reporting, or international operations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.

• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in a Marketplace or HR technology business. 

• Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian operations, including multi-currency or crossborder financial considerations.

• Experience with post-acquisition integration, organizational transformation, or rapid growth.

• Knowledge of Marketplace metrics, revenue forecasting, customer retention, unit economics, and pricing analysis.

• Experience preparing materials for a board of directors, investors, or private equity partners.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Domo, NetSuite, financial planning systems, or other ERP platforms.

• Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in using emerging technology to improve financial analysis, reporting, and team efficiency.
