Specialist, Production PlanningOur site in Danbury, CT is seeking a Production Planner – SDS & VAC to support supply planning and production scheduling activities across SDS and VAC product lines, supporting operations in North America and Korea. This role focuses on translating demand into executable supply plans, maintaining accurate planning data in SAP, and supporting alignment between demand, capacity, and production execution to meet customer and business requirements. The position works cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Service to maintain schedule stability, resolve constraints, and support effective execution in a dynamic manufacturing environment.End-to-End Supply & Capacity PlanningSupport supply planning activities for SDS and VAC across North America and KoreaTranslate demand requirements into production and supply plans that balance service, inventory, capacity, and costMaintain constrained supply plans in SAP IBP over an 18-month horizon, with alignment to SAP ECC for executionApply MRP, master scheduling, and inventory management fundamentals to build achievable supply plansS&OP & Capacity Planning SupportSupport the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process through data preparation, analysis, and plan updatesMaintain and validate work center capacity assumptions in collaboration with Operations and EngineeringUtilize capacity requirements planning (CRP) and rough-cut capacity analysis to identify gaps and support decision-makingProduction Planning, Scheduling & ERP ExecutionMaintain production schedules to ensure alignment with demand and capacity plansUpdate and support ERP master data and planning parameters (MRP type, lead times, lot sizes, routings, BOMs) to ensure accurate systemMonitor planning signals, exception messages, and system outputs to identify risks and required actionsPerform data analysis using SAP and Excel to support planning decisions and issue resolutionCapacity Monitoring & Issue ResolutionMonitor work center loading and highlight over- and under-capacity conditionsSupport mitigation actions such as overtime, sequencing adjustments, and material alignmentEscalate constraints related to labor, equipment, and materials to appropriate stakeholdersCross-Functional & Cross-Regional CoordinationCoordinate with teams across North America and Korea to align supply plans and schedulesWork with Sales, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Service to resolve material shortages and scheduling issuesParticipate in cross-functional meetings to review supply risks, priorities, and actionsSupply Commitments, Inventory & PerformanceSupport alignment of supply commitments and delivery timelines with stakeholdersMonitor inventory health, service levels, and planning KPIs, including schedule adherence and on-time shipment performanceAssist in identifying root causes and corrective actions for service or planning gapsProcess & Continuous ImprovementFollow defined planning and scheduling processes, including planning cycles and exception managementSupport improvements to planning, scheduling, and capacity management processesMaintain documentation of planning workflows and system inputsWhat We Seek:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.3 + years of progressive experience in supply planning, production planning, or manufacturing operations.Strong experience with SAP ECC and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).Demonstrated experience in capacity-constrained, multi-site planning environments.Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.Ability to support global coordination across time zones as business needs require.Outstanding Candidates Will Have:Experience supporting global supply chains, including North America and Asia.Demonstrated leadership in S&OP, capacity planning, and constrained planning.Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and action-oriented outcomes.Experience with scenario modeling and long-range (12–18 month) planning.Exposure to semiconductor, advanced materials, or high-mix manufacturing environments.Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate effective planning and decision forums.Why Work at Entegris Lead.
