We are looking for motivated, friendly, and customer-focused individuals to join our team for the upcoming tax season. Whether you are an experienced tax preparer or looking to start a new career, we want to hear from you!

No previous tax preparation experience is required for entry-level positions. We provide access to a FREE Income Tax Course designed to teach you the fundamentals of tax preparation, important tax law changes, and the skills needed to get started. Upon successful completion of the course, qualified candidates may be invited to interview for seasonal employment opportunities.

Positions Available

Entry-Level Tax Preparers

·         Learn tax preparation through our free training program.

·         Develop customer service, computer, and tax preparation skills.

·         Gain practical experience in a professional office environment.

Experienced Tax Preparers

·         Put your existing tax preparation knowledge to work.

·         Help clients prepare accurate income tax returns.

·         Deliver excellent customer service and build lasting client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

·         Prepare individual income tax returns accurately and professionally, based on your training and qualifications.

·         Interview clients and gather necessary tax documents and information.

·         Enter client information into tax preparation software.

·         Review tax documents for completeness and accuracy.

·         Provide friendly, professional customer service.

·         Assist with document management, data entry, and general office duties.

·         Participate in office marketing activities and help attract new clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Successfully complete the Liberty Tax Service Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Complete required continuing education and comply with all applicable IRS, federal, and Michigan state tax preparation requirements.
