Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. This role involves performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams, in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in transplants, dopplers, and renal artery stenosis, and be able to interact effectively with patients and medical personnel.

Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams
• Interact daily with patients and other medical personnel, reviewing charts, and selecting appropriate equipment
• Interview patients, obtain necessary information, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as amniocenteses, cyst punctures, thoracenteses, and biopsies
• Determine images appropriate for diagnostic purposes and record images on PACS
• Provide preliminary interpretation and assist with procedures outside the Ultrasound Suite
• Perform high level disinfection of Ultrasound intracavitary transducers ensuring patient protection

Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist

• ARDMS certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in transplants, dopplers, and renal artery stenosis
• Must not have worked at Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last six months
