Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on stabilizing and supporting patients with various medical conditions. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, efficient treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care based on established medical protocols and standards.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Document and report patient progress, interventions, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning to support ongoing recovery.

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry and basic dysrhythmia interpretation.
• BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications must be active and uploaded at profile submission.
• Willingness to float to different units as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate caregiving efforts.
