Position Purpose: Provide mechanical and technical support to customers regarding commissioning, installation, inspection, maintenance, service, repair, rebuild and upgrades for all types of blast equipment.

Job Functions:

Install new Wheelabrator equipment, ensuring it's properly configured and integrated with existing systems at customer's site.

Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.

When equipment malfunctions, diagnose the problem, determine the appropriate solution, and make necessary mechanical repairs or replacements.

Provide technical training, guidance and support to customers, explaining how to use and maintain equipment and grow the customer relationship.

Document all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions as needed.

Ability to comply with all Norican's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and other applicable federal, state, and local EHS requirements.

Supervise projects and contractors as needed.

Complete continuous education and certifications to maintain up to date technical knowledge of equipment lines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: Three to seven years related experience.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver's License with good driving record; Forklift Driving Certified.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook); Willingness to train and learn the AX ERP system.

Other Requirements: Mechanical, PLC, Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge and aptitude required. Welding, burning, brazing, soldering, fabrication, and mechanical. Operate Crane, Man Lift, and Scissor Lift. Must be proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation along with an understanding of basic G eometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) terminology.
