Data Analyst

Opportunity Details Job Location: SACRAMENTO, CA Key Responsibilities: Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns. Design, develop, and maintain the data models and create logical representations of data entities, defining their attributes, relationships, and dependencies. Analyse and optimize the data model architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and data integrity. Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures. Using data to predict trends and perform statistical analysis of data. Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs. Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients. Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data. Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements. Qualifications : 5 + years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or business intelligence, with proven ability to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets. Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts — including logical and physical data models, entity-relationship design, and data normalization. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data mining and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and ability to communicate insights effectively through charts and dashboards. Familiarity with Python, R, or other statistical analysis tools for predictive modeling and trend forecasting. Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake. Experience optimizing data architecture for performance, scalability, and data integrity. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills for translating technical insights into actionable business recommendations.
