They are adding people across their manufacturing operations and creating opportunities for experienced machinists as well as people who want to continue developing their skills.This opportunity is geared toward CNC machinists who can do more than operate equipment — setting up and running CNC machining centers and/or lathes, working from prints and setup information, selecting tooling, producing first pieces and making adjustments necessary to consistently produce quality parts.The work may include:Set up and operate CNC machining centers and/or lathesRead blueprints, job travelers, setup sheets and work instructionsSelect, install and adjust toolingEstablish or adjust feeds, speeds and machine offsetsProduce and inspect first pieces and monitor quality throughout the runUse precision measuring and inspection equipmentTroubleshoot machining, tooling and quality issuesMake program edits or adjustments appropriate to your experienceOur client is looking for people who bring solid machining experience, but not every machinist has followed the same path.
