Leasing Agent (HUD experience required) 18 - 20/hr to start, temp-to-hire

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent with a strong background in HUD to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. This role requires prior leasing experience, a background in HUD, excellent customer relationship management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Duties

Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing.
Utilize upselling techniques to highlight property features and amenities.
Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants.
Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and related documents.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure properties are well-maintained.
Provide administrative support related to real estate operations as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in prior leasing agent role, experienced in HUD and fair housing
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
Proficient in office software applications and customer relationship management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
