Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

LilyCare Hospice is a community-based hospice serving patients and families across the Albuquerque area. We are hiring a full-time Hospice CNA to join our clinical team and help shape end-of-life care from the ground up.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to hospice patients in their homes — bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, oral care, transfers, linen changes, and vital signs

• Follow the aide plan of care set by the RN Case Manager, and report changes in patient or family condition promptly

• Support patients and families emotionally, and reinforce teaching on patient care and caregiver self-care

• Follow infection control and safety protocols, and keep patient supplies stocked and monitored

• Document care accurately and on time in the EMR, and participate in team meetings as the Hospice CNA voice on the patient's care

Compensation and Schedule

The Hospice CNA role pays $23.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday day schedule. Territory is the greater Albuquerque area, based out of our office at 4811 Hardware Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM.

Skills and Qualifications

• Active certification on the New Mexico Nurse Aide Registry in good standing

• Graduate of a state-approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program

• Experience with hospice, home health, or geriatric patients preferred — not required

• Current driver's license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation

• Compassion for patients and families at end of life
