About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience required. License: Active RN license in hand at the time of submission; no exceptions. Certifications: BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association required. Must-Have: Proficient in Epic charting system. Must have travel experience. Must be fully pre-closed and comfortable with patient ratios of 1:7 before consideration. Description: This position involves patient care for post-operative orthopedic, spinal, bariatric, and colorectal surgery patients. The unit specializes in post-surgical care and Level III trauma care. It has the capability to monitor telemetry patients as needed. The typical patient ratio is 1:7. Successful candidates will work every other weekend, float as required, and cover holidays within the contract period. Candidates must have experience with specific skills, including management of various medical devices and post-operative care. Additional responsibilities may include assessment, monitoring, and care of patients in a telemetry setting. The candidate must be comfortable with the patient population and patient care requirements outlined. Compliance with all policies and protocols is essential for this role. A focus on high-quality patient care and teamwork is expected.
