SanitationMerit Frederick MD ALDFRE - Frederick, MD 21701OverviewSalary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly Level Entry Position Type Full Time Job Shift Graveyard Category Entry LevelDescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Responsible for keeping all working and storage areas of the distribution center in a clean and orderly condition, at the direction of the Supervisor and/or Site Management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Deep cleans, sweeps and/or mops assigned areas, including aisles, compactors, dock areas and levelers, floor racks, etc.Dusts posts, barriers, and fire exit stationsCardboard breakdownTrash removalPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checkThe ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 75lbsThe ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standardsThe ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidaysThe ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, without advanced noticeReliable transportation to and from workQualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIREDOrganized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
