Irrigation Manager

Good irrigation crews don't need another person telling them what to do. They need someone who knows how to lead the work.


Someone who can look at the week's projects, the people available, the equipment, the weather and the customer commitments and figure out how to make it all come together.


That's the Irrigation Manager we're looking for.


You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of an established irrigation operation.


Some days that means building schedules and assigning crews.


Other days it means walking a job site, solving an equipment problem, coaching an employee, talking with a customer or figuring out why a project isn't hitting its numbers.


You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing irrigation crews
• Planning schedules, staffing and equipment
• Monitoring production, labor hours and project progress
• Maintaining high standards for quality and safety
• Coordinating changes and additional work with customers
• Making sure equipment is available and properly maintained
• Working closely with sales and other operational leaders
• Improving how the irrigation operation performs

What matters most?


You understand irrigation and you're ready to lead.


We're looking for at least 4 years of related irrigation experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, and pivot irrigation experience will get our attention.


You'll also need experience around irrigation equipment, strong communication and organizational skills, a CDL, and the ability to meet the physical and DOT requirements of the position.


This is not a desk job.
