The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Leads, develops, and executes strategies for system development projects and quality assurance strategies for LP information systems by serving as the primary liaison between information technology (IT) and Livestock and Poultry.
• Develops and monitors progress against a project plan which identifies program milestones and associated tasking and time frames.
• Utilizes project management skills to lead, conduct and/or direct special studies, and high-level initiatives and coordinates with other experts as necessary.
• Gathers, documents, and prioritizes user requirements from a variety of stakeholders and investigates and evaluates alternative systems for the Program's systems/software development efforts.
• Develops and implements user rollout plans and leads training once completed systems/software projects are ready to deploy.
• Develops Standard Operating Procedures, business processes, and operational guidance across program.
