Clinical Nurse Coordinator Progressive Care

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for Progressive Care at Medical City Arlington to ensure high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions during the designated shift. What You Will Do In This Role Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient‑centered care. Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes and service. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Advance engagement initiatives by operationalizing nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds and other initiatives. Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting and training new staff; recommend and implement trainings, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor aspects according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Qualifications Requirements Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing; must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role in acute care preferred. Minimum 2+ years in ICU/Critical Care preferred. Medical City Arlington is a full‑service hospital located in south Arlington, offering comprehensive medical services across numerous specialties.
