Job Description:

Schedule: Nights, 3x12 (1900–0700) Every other weekend

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years nursing experience

- Ground transport experience required

- Charge nurse experience preferred

- Active compact RN license

- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS

Key clinical skills:

- Pediatric/neonatal airway and ventilator management

- Transport experience (NICU/PICU transport)

- Vascular/line skills

- Critical care skills: interpretation of ABGs/dysrhythmias

- Routine procedures: NG/urinary catheter management, phlebotomy, pediatric dosing

- Familiarity with isolation precautions and care of ventilated patients

- EMR: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers during transport.

- Provide critical care to neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.

- Manage airway and ventilator support for patients during transport.

- Conduct routine assessments and implement emergency interventions as needed.

- Handle transport-specific equipment and ensure safe patient transport logistics.

- Maintain effective communication with receiving facilities and team members.
