Join our dynamic team in a metal fabrication shop where you will engage in fitting, welding, and fabricating on steel to create I beams, walls, handrails, staircases, and more. This role offers the opportunity to work in an evolving environment with growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Fit, weld, and fabricate steel to construct I beams, walls, handrails, and staircases.

• Interpret and work from blueprints and welding drawings.

• Perform welding using various techniques including flux core, structural steel, stainless steel, and carbon steel welding.

• Ensure precision in fitting steel and structural parts.

• Read and interpret weld diagrams and blueprints accurately.

Essential Skills

• 3-6+ years of experience in welding and fitting steel.

• 3-6+ years of experience in fabricating.

• Proficiency in welding/ fitting from blueprints and welding drawings.

• Experience in flux core welding and structural steel welding.

• Ability to weld on stainless, carbon, and mild steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of performing flux core and welding experience.

• 3-5+ years of fitting steel and structural parts.

• Ability to fit and perform layouts.

• Strong capability in reading weld diagrams and blueprints.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbiana, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
