Patient caseload up to 25. Weekend requirement is every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with a weekday off. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Highlights: 13-week travel assignment at an acute care facility in the Burbank area Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a case management role Business attire or scrubs accepted; 40 hours of paid orientation provided Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and Epic charting system required Opportunity to work in care coordination and discharge planning in a dynamic acute care setting No floating required within the unit Requirements: Active California RN license (or compact license; pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date) Minimum 2 years of acute medical care manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers must be screened Proficiency with Epic charting system and computerized documentation Experience with admission criteria, medical necessity determination, DRG, CPT coding, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance Knowledge of ICU, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs, disease management, and DME ordering Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Clean background check required Why Join Us?
