Data Warehouse Architect / Senior ETL Developer

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Architect / Senior ETL Developer to lead enterprise data modernization efforts. In this role, you will design and optimize robust ETL pipelines, migrate legacy workloads to modern platforms, and ensure high standards for data quality, governance, and integration.
Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site Wednesdays & Thursdays required from Day 1)
Interview Process: 1 2 Rounds (Virtual / In-Person) with technical & soft skill evaluations
Key Technical Skills Required
- IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D): 1+ year hands-on experience (legacy migration to CP4D).
- Teradata 20: 3+ years strong experience with SQL, BTEQ , and performance tuning on large enterprise datasets.
- Unix/Linux: 5+ years of scripting and system operations.
- Advanced SQL: 3+ years in data analysis and complex ETL support.
- IBM DataStage: 5+ years in ETL development (parallel/server jobs, job sequencing, tuning).
Preferred & Bonus Skills
- Experience in Public Health, Healthcare, or Government Sector .
- Automation using Python & Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) , IBM Knowledge Catalog , or IBM Manta .
- Exposure to cloud-native platforms ( OpenShift / Kubernetes ), CI/CD , and Agile workflows.
Education & Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Location Flexibility: Candidates must be local to Lansing, MI, or willing to relocate at their own expense before Day 1 .
