Shop Foreman/Production Manager-Steel Fabrication Company

Job Description

We are seeking a Shop Foreman/Production Manager to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams producing stairs, handrails and misc. steel items.
Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
Schedule production orders from customers
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect fabrication errors.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Order materials and hardware for fabrication of projects
Schedule deliveries of materials with site installation crews
Salary based on experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in steel fabrication, production, and other related fields
Knowledge of production tools and equipment
Strong leadership qualities and professional in overseeing employees.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous shop experience in the fabrication of Misc steel stairs, handrails and other steel and nonferrous products.
