Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic

As an Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:

1. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots specialized equipment, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and user satisfaction.
2. Installs, modifies, maintains, and repairs a variety of building HVAC systems, including the Chilled Water Production Facility in the HCHB.
3. Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for building HVAC systems, ensuring the reliability and longevity of equipment and infrastructure.
4. Tracks, schedules, and documents all installation, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring efficient work order management and accurate recordkeeping.
5. Collaborates with other departments and contractors on projects requiring HVAC system expertise, ensuring proper integration of building systems into the overall building design and operation.
6. Conducts regular inspections and assessments of building HVAC systems to identify potential hazards, maintenance issues, or performance improvements, and develops corrective action plans as needed.
