Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working with students from birth through 12th grade throughout the region. In this role, you will work an estimated 37.5 hours each week, with a consistent, full-time schedule of 8 hours per day. As part of a dedicated team, you'll provide speech and language services to a diverse student population, making a significant impact across multiple educational settings.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license or eligibility in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatrics, school-based, or healthcare settings with children and adolescents
- Proven skills in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
- Support students from birth through high school by providing direct intervention tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document progress, making adjustments as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and related team activities
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support communication goals
