Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $27-$33 (Based on Experience) 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) About the Role: We're looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment and machinery. This role needs a strong understanding of mechanical and basic electrical systems, as you'll play a crucial part in ensuring our operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. Job Duties: Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Troubleshoot and maintain diverse industrial machinery, including conveyors, water pumps, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, basic 3-phase electrical systems, box erectors, tapers, palletizers, and perform minor forklift repairs. Identify faulty equipment through observation and preventative maintenance work orders. Create detailed repair work order s, including parts lists and work instructions. Participate in daily shift handover meetings to prioritize work and minimize downtime. Assess the condition of used parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers, adhering to specifications. Maintain accurate parts and tools inventory. Perform other various duties as needed to support operations. Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. Basic understanding of electrical systems. Comfortable working with computers. Proficiency in operating hand, power, and specialized tools. Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. A team player with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
