Pay Range:$34.21 - $51.31A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is seeking a MRI Technologist to join our Imaging team. Under the direction of the radiologist, the ideal candidate will be experienced in MRI services to our patients for diagnosis, closely follows physician's instructions, appropriately positions patients, prepares, and operates equipment, and accurately records the images requested.*CT experience will be considered.*Position Specifics:o Department: MRIo Core Function: Imagingo Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours/week, rotating weekendso Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospitalo Location: O'Fallon, ILo Sign-On Bonus: up to $15,000 for full-time positions. Bonus will be adjusted for part time positions.o Compensation that aligns with your experienceEducation QualificationsAssociates degree in allied health, applied/radiologic science or certificate program is required.Experience Qualifications1 year of Radiology Technology experience preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsOne of the following is required:Certification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or a Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).ORCertification or registry eligible as a Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.If certified through ARRT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification/registry is preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Job DescriptionScheduled Weekly Hours:40Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
