Job Details Job Location: WILMINGTON, VT 05363 Salary Range: $45.00 - $85.00 Hourly The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is a private ski resort nestled in the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to our exclusive membership through world-class amenities, personalized service, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. We are currently seeking energetic and knowledgeable Part-Time Fitness Instructors to join our Fitness & Wellness team. In this role, you'll guide our members through engaging, safe, and effective group fitness sessions that help them stay strong, balanced, and ready for the mountain — whether they're carving fresh tracks in the winter or enjoying a special event in summer. We welcome instructors across a range of specialties, including: Pilates — Mat and/or Reformer Yoga Indoor Cycling / Spin Strength & Conditioning Barre HIIT / Circuit Training Functional Fitness Mobility, Stretching & Recovery Dance Fitness Other specialty group fitness formats Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead engaging group fitness classes in your area(s) of specialty for members of varying skill and fitness levels. Provide clear instruction on proper form, alignment, pacing, and breathing technique to ensure a safe and effective workout. Modify exercises to accommodate individual member needs, injuries, or fitness goals. Create a welcoming, motivating, and community-driven atmosphere in every session. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, equipment, and any class supplies before and after classes. Collaborate with the Fitness & Wellness team to schedule classes and promote member engagement and participation. QualificationsWhat We're Looking For: Current certification in one or more disciplines listed above, or another specialty group fitness format, from a recognized training program. Prior experience teaching group or private fitness sessions preferred. Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for health, wellness, and helping others succeed. Ability to build rapport and create a positive, encouraging class experience for members. CPR/AED certification preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
