Chemical Operations Technician

Overview Duration: 07+ Months with possible extensions (Contract to Hire) Position starts out days for a month and then rotates with 12 hour days/nights. Schedule rotates. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous chemical or manufacturing experience and computer skills are preferred. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, have good math skills, be able to work independently, be able to execute strenuous physical activities, work indoors and outdoors, and be able to work any shift. Comply with the rules of the specific location to which one is assigned as well as the rules set by the business unit (BU) and ***. Comply with all standard procedures and work instructions, aka SP, SOP, PWI, TM, to ensure productivity, quality assurance and cost effectiveness. Review their work areas for potential losses and Report hazards to the direct supervisor. Report Near Misses to the direct supervisor. Report Incidents or Accidents to the direct supervisor.
