Position Title: Travel -Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient

Location: St. Helena, CA, USA

Shift: 5 x 8s (Monday - Friday; shifts scheduled between 5:30 AM and 6:30 PM or until patient care is complete)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient team in St. Helena, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient surgery, including preoperative and postoperative care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.
• Conduct preoperative assessments, including gathering medical histories and performing physical examinations.
• Educate patients and their families on preoperative and postoperative care instructions.
• Monitor patients during recovery, assessing vital signs and ensuring comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of California.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in outpatient surgery or similar setting required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
