Automotive Technician and / or Body Tech, Vintage Cars and Trucks

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician or Body Technician that is familiar with Vintage Cars and Trucks . We are a busy full service Vintage Vehicle Restoration Facility specializing in Volkswagens servicing the community for over 45 years.

Responsibilities:

Repair brakes, suspension components, remove & install engines / transmissions
Vehicle disassembly / reassembly
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Ability to diagnose points ignition systems and carburetors
Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Body work including welding and rust repair
Paint prep

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a mechanic or body tech
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to be at work on time every day

We are a full service Automotive Restoration Facility specializing in but not limited to Vintage Volkswagen Cars and Trucks. We also accept custom builds, service and repair modern vehicles and are a licensed dealer offering Used Cars at Wholesale Prices.
