Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care

• Provide care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, and multi-system organ dysfunction
• Manage endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Administer antihypertensive, sedative, narcan, and thrombo-embolytic drips
• Operate a-line, CVP, EVD, and ortho traction equipment
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols
• Utilize HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent devices effectively

Requirements of the RN - Critical Care

• Epic experience is required
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with advanced hemodynamics, pressor usage, and PCU or community hospital ICU settings
• Competency in care of medical and surgical populations
• Successful completion of a competency test within 24 hours of submission
