Housing Assistant

Institutional Work Study - Housing Desk Assistant The Residence Hall is seeking (8) Institutional Work Study students at 10 hours each per week for the Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 terms. Duties include: staff the front desk of the assigned residence hall, check in and out visitors to the building, maintain the visitation log, hand out paper for the computer lab, assist with managing the front desk. Salary: $11.00 per hour Required Qualifications: general office and phone etiquette, good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, student in good standing. Physical Activities: stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
