Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical specialties, demonstrating a versatile skill set to thrive in a dynamic environment. Position Details
- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)
- Weekends: Available, typically on Saturdays, with a commitment to work every other weekend
- On Call: Not required
- Scrubbing in and circulating for a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
- Trauma
- Cardiothoracic Surgery (CVT)
- Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics
- Cataracts
- Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT)
- Monitoring patient vitals and providing necessary interventions during surgeries
- Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols
- Documenting patient information and surgical procedure details accurately
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in West Virginia or a Compact license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in scrubbing and circulating preferred
- Ability to function in multiple areas and adapt to varying surgical specialties
