Pay: Up to 36.9/hr depending on education level Position Summary Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Analyst to support microbiological testing for GMP manufacturing, clinical, and development product release activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet quality and regulatory requirements while supporting commercial manufacturing timelines. The successful candidate will perform microbiological assays, support laboratory operations, and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing to support GMP manufacturing, clinical, and development product release activities. Conduct microbiological assays on in-process samples, including growth promotion testing and related quality control analyses. Support routine day-to-day operations within the Quality Control Microbiology laboratory. Execute laboratory testing in accordance with approved SOPs, cGMP requirements, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Assist with microbiology method verification activities supporting both clinical and commercial products. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, records, and testing data in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Ensure laboratory cleanliness, organization, and inspection readiness at all times. Utilize aseptic technique while handling microbiological samples and laboratory materials. Learn new laboratory techniques and achieve proficiency across multiple microbiological assays. Collaborate with laboratory analysts, specialists, and management to meet product release timelines and departmental objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related Life Sciences discipline required. 1-2 years of laboratory experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated industry. Experience working in a GMP laboratory environment preferred. Familiarity with aseptic technique and microbiological laboratory practices. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous pharmaceutical or biotechnology laboratory experience. Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience, including microbial assays and growth promotion testing. Knowledge of USP compendial microbiology requirements and microbiological testing principles. Experience supporting clinical and commercial product release activities. Familiarity with laboratory documentation, data integrity, and quality systems.
