Network Engineer – GCPLocation: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only) Duration: 6 Months Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens (USC) and Green Card holders only. All other visa types are not eligible.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking expertise to design, implement, and validate cloud network infrastructure and hybrid connectivity.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and validate GCP VPCs, Shared VPC, Network Connectivity Center (NCC), Cloud Router, Cloud Interconnect, Private Service Connect (PSC), DNS, and firewall policies.Manage routing, BGP, network segmentation, private connectivity, and high availability.Coordinate hybrid connectivity with client, carrier, and security teams.Troubleshoot cloud-to-on-premises and inter-VPC connectivity issues.Collaborate with Terraform engineers to automate network deployments.Prepare network implementation plans, validation evidence, and technical documentation.Required Qualifications8+ years of enterprise networking experience, including 4+ years of hands-on GCP networking.Strong expertise in GCP networking, BGP, hybrid connectivity, and network security.Experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and client-facing communication skills.Preferred Qualifications: Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification and experience with Cisco FTDv and Umbrella.
